About
Sajarina
This blog is about East London, and all the things I love about it. In the three years I’ve been living here I have spent a lot of time wandering around it, photographing it, and attempting to discover some of its secrets. But this is a foot-off-the-ground blog, which came by the left hand* so there’s no clear order or sense to it, I’m just writing about the things I find on my rambles.
You can expect insider information on which city farm has the most piglets, where all the coolest Victorians hang out, and where to find waffles with coconut ice cream. I also catalogue any charity shops I find, as my very soul has a kimble tag with £2.99 written on it I suspect.
New posts can be expected every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning, although no guarantees can be made in the event of disruption such as moving house, intermittent internet connections or a case of extreme sleepiness.
*Read Novel on Yellow Paper by Stevie Smith. Go on, it’s brilliant.

Hi Sajarina,
found your blog via DG blog. As you are interested in the local area, thought you might be interested in the work of Eastside Community Hertiage. We wree based in the Old Town Hall, Stratford until last year. We run community history projects across the area. I am working on a project looking at Wanstead Flats and we have a launch of a new exhibition about Wanstead Flats on May 10 and have a film screening of historic films about the housing in east London at the IWM on June 7th. if you are interested either email me or check the website were details should be going up in the next few days.
Regards
Richard
