Was it asylum seekers? No, not this time - the dropping-encrusted engine which has been standing proudly outside Stratford station since 1999 has in fact been snaffled by the Olympians. Possibly feeling a bit ‘tired and emotional’ after almost a decade of drunken fights and kebab-splatterings, Robert has apparently been moved to a sort of train spa deep in the countryside for a bit of r&r while a new taxi rank is being built.
I toyed with the idea of posting a picture of the empty bit of pavement, but I suspect you can imagine it for yourselves.

I would personally like to see a picture of the new, Robert-less, site. It has made me so sad
